In 1988, Trend Micro CEO Eva Chen, together with co-founders Steve and Jenny Chang, saw a need to protect computer users from what was then an escalating threat, the virus. Together they had developed an antivirus software. It would be the first of many solutions that helped Trend Micro become a market leader in hybrid cloud security, network defense, small business security, and endpoint security.
