As a Corporate Technical Support Engineer, you will play an important role in making sure:
Our customers stay safe and protected via the secure cybersecurity posture provided by implementing Trend Micro products and our customers are able to respond effectively to cybersecurity threats by leveraging the latest intelligence and research information provided by Trend Micro threat experts.

Responsibilities:

-  Provides frontline technical assistance of Trend Micro products through Phone, Email, and Chat for SMB customers and for SaaS customers on all business segments.

-  Provides technical assistance to Trend Micro Managed Service Providers.

-  Identifies product issues and proactively reports it for escalation to Product Development Team.

-  Identify and address the customer success gaps when using Trend Micro solutions.

-  Continuously improve and upgrade technical skills/knowledge through self-led methods and participate in assessment activities.

-  Meet business objectives defined by the balanced scorecards of the team.

-  Contribute to the product knowledgebase, and improve self-help methods available for customers.

-  Proactively share knowledge through solution huddles of the squad.

-  Collaborate with the squad to improve work processes and environment.

-  Provide weekend support when necessary.

-  Uphold and manifest Trend Micro culture and values.

Requirements:

- Graduate of any 4 or 5 year IT related course.

- Basic understanding of computer hardware/software and networking technologies.

- Able to effectively understand customer concerns and instruct/guide customers in verbal and written English language.

- Possesses a helpful attitude and service mindset.

- Curious and driven to learn latest technologies.

- Good time management and prioritization skills.

- Willing to work on any shift assigned to him/her and to report to work on PH holidays

- With basic technical troubleshooting fundamentals and problem solving skills.

Qualifications:

- Experience in installing and configuring desktop operating systems and applications is a plus.

- Experience in setting up a small network and understands TCP/IP concepts is a plus.

- Experience working with cloud applications and platforms (ex. MS Azure, O365, AWS, GCP, etc.) is a plus.

- Experience in malware handling, with knowledge in security solutions and open source tools is a plus.

- Having networking or any server or cloud platform/application certification is a plus.  (Ex. Cisco, Windows, Azure, etc.)
